Partners HollandRoute

The HollandRoute opens up heritage sites of trade, productivity, engineering, industry, water control and infrastructure in the Metropolitan Region Amsterdam.

The European Union stimulated the realisation of the European Route of Industrial Heritage (ERIH, from which the HollandRoute derives) with the programme Interreg 3B during the period 2004-2008.

The HollandRoute was created in 2004 as a regional pilot project of the European Route of Industrial Heritage
(ERIH).The HollandRoute Foundation has close ties with the European association ERIH e.V. situated in Essen (DE).

The HollandRoute Foundation is a member of collaboration “Visit Amsterdam, see Holland”, which aims at encouraging tourism in Amsterdam Metropolitan Area.

The HollandRoute Foundation cooperates to accomplish the program with the City Region of Amsterdam and the Amsterdam Tourism and Congress Board (ATCB).

The Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Province of North Holland and the Municipalities within the Amsterdam
Metropolitan Area support collaboration “Visit Amsterdam, see Holland”, which includes the HollandRoute.
